Alan Wake to show up at Tokyo Game Show
(via QJ) - It's been more than three months since the Alan Wake (Xbox 360, PC) media blackout was rumored to be ending soon, and it looks like Microsoft and Remedy are finally getting ready to talk about the game. When, you ask? During this year's Tokyo Game Show, that's when.A new Windows Vista contest where the winner gets their digitized likeness added to Alan Wake seems as good a confirmation as any that the game will indeed be showing up at TGS.

NCAA Football 09 Has a Shitload of Problems Bugs
(via Kotaku) - Message boards and forums are livid at EA and NCAA Football 09, whose problems apparently go well beyond EA Locker corrupting the roster files. AOL Fanhouse went through the boards and made a full accounting, and it's grim. Sliders are borked. The CPU sliders do nothing.

Street Fighter IV
(via Computer And Video Games) - Okay, firstly, familiarity with the old games helps. SFIV uses SFII as a template and builds outward, so virtually every combo and counter - from Ken's four fierce to Guile's air throw - work as they always did. After complaints from playtesters, the version shown from GDC (which used 3D collision detection) has been adapted to mimic the 2D hit boxes of the original, so crossover attacks and Dhalsim's stretching kicks feel the same as before.

E3: Sony Soars To New Heights
(via N4G.com) - Endsights writes: "Even though they lost another exclusive in Final Fantasy XIII, Sony had a strong yet somber showing at E3. They made it loud and clear, on several occasions, that this was the year of the PlayStation 3, and I couldn't agree more. After bringing up the rear in the "next-gen console war" ever since its launch, the PS3 is showing its teeth for the first time ever since the battle for supremacy began.

Gridrunner for XBLA Screens Wake Up Sheeple

Insider Describes the World of Sony's MAG Exclusive
(via Kotaku) - It’s not hard to imagine that Sony knew Microsoft would choose E3 to make its curtain-call announcement of Final Fantasy XIII for the 360. It’s likewise reasonable to believe they searched their catalog of works under development for the best candidate to generate any buzz.

Damnation screens, factsheet give off some steamy steampunk funk
(via QJ) - Steampunk fans will probably get a kick out of Damnation as much as I do.
