All Games -- Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon
Release Date: 15-Sep-2008
ESRB: Rating Pending
Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon is the fourth game in the Destroy All Humans! series, mentioned for release at some point during THQ's 2008 fiscal year.[1] The game is being developed by THQ's Sandblast Games studio and has been confirmed for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Veteran voice actors J. Grant Albrecht and Richard Horvitz will reprise their roles as Cryptosporidium and Orthopox respectively, and the musical score will be preformed by veteran composer Garry Schyman.
In Path of the Furon, it's the 1970's, and players once again reprise their role as Crypto in an effort to harvest as much DNA as possible while combating a new adversary from Crypto's past.[2] Path of the Furon picks up right after the last game in the series: Big Willy Unleashed. Crypto is running a Vegas casino as he has grown weary of the constant struggle of harvesting DNA from humans. The human brain stem farm masked as a Sin City casino is soon brought down by a mysterious race of cyborgs known as Nexos and the story takes off from there.[2] With a conspiracy quickly formed that threatens his way of life, Crypto embarks on a journey to gain enlightenment from an alien Kung Fu master, unlocking new powers that will let him save the Furons once again.[3]
Path of the Furon expands on the open world format of the previous Destroy All Humans!, with five open worlds on the ground and in the air (thanks to new augmentations to Crypto's new UFO) to obliterate with new weapons and new alien powers.
